About SpinBetter India
SpinBetter India is an independent review site focused on one thing: giving Indian players an honest, detailed and up-to-date look at one specific offshore gambling brand. We don't aggregate a hundred casinos into a superficial top-ten list. We take one platform, spend serious time with it, document what works and what doesn't, and publish what we find.
Who we are
We're a small team of iGaming reviewers based across India and Southeast Asia, with collective experience covering the Indian online gambling market since the mid-2010s. Our backgrounds include product testing for regulated European operators, content work for international affiliate networks, and — importantly — years of personal experience as casino and sportsbook players ourselves. We play the games. We place the bets. We cash out (or not). Everything we publish comes from first-hand sessions rather than repackaged marketing copy.
We don't publish author bylines because the editorial process is collaborative. Every page is drafted by one writer, reviewed by a second team member for accuracy, and fact-checked against the live platform before going live. If something we've written turns out to be wrong, we fix it and note the update — we'd rather correct an error than hide it.
Why this site exists
The Indian online gambling space is messy. Federal law doesn't regulate most online casinos. State laws are a patchwork. Offshore brands target Indian players with aggressive marketing. Review sites — including this one, honestly — exist partly to help players make informed choices and partly to earn affiliate commissions when they do. The difference between a good review site and a bad one is whether the affiliate relationship influences the content.
Our position: readers should trust us if and only if we earn that trust through honest reporting. If we recommend something that turns out to be bad, we lose credibility faster than we could ever monetise it. So we write about the negatives — the slow payouts, the restrictive bonus terms, the support issues — with the same attention as the positives. A review that only lists good things isn't a review.
How we test offshore casinos and sportsbooks
Account creation and onboarding
We register real accounts from Indian IP addresses, using Indian phone numbers and genuine ID for KYC. We time the process, note friction points, and document every screen of the onboarding. If a welcome bonus exists, we claim it and try to clear it under realistic conditions.
Deposit and withdrawal testing
We deposit via multiple methods — UPI, PayTM, cards, crypto — and record exact processing times. For withdrawals, we test both small cashouts (below KYC thresholds) and larger ones (triggering full verification). We note the exact time from request to funds arriving, any friction, and any unexplained delays.
Gameplay
Casino testing means real money spins across a sample of the library — at least one slot from each major provider, live dealer tables, any house-branded games, and the Games section (crash, Plinko, Mines). Sportsbook testing means placing real bets across cricket, football and whatever else the platform positions heavily. We use cash-out, live betting and accumulator features to test how they actually function.
Support
We open multiple support tickets — one easy question, one harder question, one mildly adversarial question (like pushing back on a KYC rejection). We time response, judge quality of resolution, and note whether support agents default to copy-paste answers or actually engage.
Fairness and security
We verify game RTPs against provider-published values, check that the site uses SSL and modern TLS versions, look at what cookies and trackers the site sets, and cross-reference the operator's licence against regulator databases.
Our affiliate disclaimer
This site earns affiliate commissions when a reader follows a link from our pages and signs up at SpinBetter. The commission structure typically pays us a percentage of the operator's revenue from that player over time, or a fixed amount for qualifying new sign-ups. This is how SpinBetter India is funded.
Affiliate commissions don't change the price or terms for the player — you get exactly the same welcome bonus, same payout terms, same support whether you arrive at SpinBetter via our site or by typing the URL directly. What affiliate commissions do influence, across the industry generally, is which sites get reviewed at all. We chose SpinBetter specifically because it's a platform we tested thoroughly and found worth covering in depth for Indian players. If our testing had turned up red flags we couldn't work around, we wouldn't have launched this site.
Editorial independence
We don't accept paid placements, hidden sponsored content or edits dictated by the operator. SpinBetter doesn't review our content before it goes live and doesn't have editorial control over what we publish. If a brand contacts us asking us to change coverage in exchange for payment or affiliate rate increases, we decline — we've had this conversation with operators multiple times.
When we update a page — because bonus terms changed, payment methods shifted, or we found something new in a follow-up test — we do so on our own initiative. No one at SpinBetter tells us when to update.
What we don't cover
We don't review platforms we haven't personally tested. We don't publish ratings or comparison pages where the order is determined by commission rates rather than quality. We don't use fake testimonials or made-up screenshots. Every image on the site is either a screenshot of the platform we've taken ourselves or an asset provided by the operator for accurate representation.
We also don't run comment sections, forums or user-submitted content on this site. That's a deliberate choice — moderation takes real effort, and we'd rather keep the site focused on our own research than host unverified third-party claims that could mislead readers.
Updating and corrections
Online gambling platforms change frequently. Bonus terms get tweaked, payment methods come and go, support channels shift. We review our content regularly and update pages when something substantive changes. If you spot something on this site that's out of date, inaccurate or misleading, please let us know via our contact page and we'll verify and correct it.
Responsible gambling is non-negotiable
We write about gambling as an entertainment product. For most people, it's a form of paid entertainment — money spent for the experience, with occasional wins. For some people, gambling becomes a problem. No review site, no bonus code, no "strategy guide" is worth more than your wellbeing. If gambling is affecting your finances, relationships or mental health, please see our responsible gambling resources page. Age restriction 18+ applies to everything we cover.
